Designed for recessed mounting, the chamber measures 16 inches by 16 inches by 26 inches (110 liters) and operates via gravity cycles, making it suitable for sterilizing liquids in vented flasks at 250°F (121°C) or other heat- and moisture-stable items at 270°F (132°C). The hydrostatically tested pressure chamber ensures safety and reliability, while optional features like stainless steel side panels or a 30kW steam generator can be added for enhanced performance. The sterilizer is rebuilt using OEM parts and procedures, backed by a 1-year parts and labor warranty, 6 months on preventive maintenance parts, and a 5-year warranty on the pressure vessel. Additional freight and installation charges may apply, and standard preventive maintenance is required during the warranty period.

Steris AMSCO Stage 3 Models 3011, 3021, 3031, 3041, and 3051 are designed for sterilization of liquids in flasks with vented closures, at 250°F (121°C), and also heat- and moisture-stabile goods at 270°F (132°C). For quotes on these various models you may submit a quote here and in follow up request a specific Steris AMSCO 3000 series model.

What is the difference between the two configurations: Gravity & Prevacuum?

  • Gravity - designed for sterilization of liquids in flasks with vented closures, at 250°F (121°C), and also heat- and moisture-stabile goods at 270°F (132°C).
  • Prevacuum – designed for efficient, high-volume processing of heat- and moisture-stabile materials, such as fabrics, wrapped hard goods, glassware or animal bedding, at 270°F (132°C). Prevacuum units will also run gravity-type cycles.

Gravity units operate by the gravity downward displacement air-removal principle. Prevacuum sterilizers have a chamber evacuation system for high-speed, high-volume sterilization. Both types use steam-under-pressure as the sterilizing agent.

All configurations require a ground.
