Drucker Diagnostics 614B Fixed Angle Single-Speed Centrifuge

Request Quote

The Drucker Diagnostics 614B Fixed Angle Single-Speed Centrifuge is an efficient and cost-effective solution for medical settings that require reliable specimen processing. It offers a single g-force setting of 1100 xg and a mechanical timer adjustable from 1 to 30 minutes, simplifying operations by eliminating the need for complex settings. This centrifuge ensures consistent and error-free chemistry and coagulation spins, making it ideal for use in doctor’s offices, small clinics, and laboratories where on-site analysis is performed. However, while its fixed-angle rotor is effective for up to six tubes, it’s important to note that gel layers formed may be vulnerable to rupture during transport, necessitating re-centrifugation, which can negatively affect analytical results. For specimens that will be transported, horizontal centrifugation models like the Model 642E or HORIZON series are recommended. The 614B’s compact design, occupying just one square foot of counter space, features a brushless AC motor for long-lasting, maintenance-free operation, quiet and cool performance, and multiple safety features, including a positive lid latching system and reinforced side walls. With regulatory approvals and a lifetime warranty on the rotor, the 614B provides a reliable and secure solution for various laboratory applications.

Description

Drucker Diagnostics 614B Fixed Angle Single-Speed Centrifuge

The Model 614B centrifuge provides runtime flexibility and fixed angle processing at an affordable price. With a single g-force setting of 1100 xg and an adjustable mechanical timer from 1 to 30 minutes, there is no need to select from a variety of complicated options. The 614B provides error-free chemistry and coag spins, every time. This unit is ideal for doctor’s offices, small clinics, laboratories, and anywhere specimens are analyzed on site.

NOTE: Fixed-angle centrifuges produce gel layers that may be susceptible to rupture during transport. These damaged samples must be re-centrifuged – a process the CLSI does not recommend due to its known negative effects on analytical results. For better gel layer formation, especially for tubes that will be transported, please consider horizontal centrifugation with the Model 642E or HORIZON series.
