X-Ray Digital Detectors at Auxo Medical

Digital Detectors for X-Ray Units Available at Auxo Medical

At Auxo Medical, we specialize in helping healthcare facilities modernize their imaging capabilities. Transitioning from traditional chemical-based X-ray systems to digital detectors represents a major upgrade in efficiency, image quality, and patient care. In this article, we explore the key differences between chemical film processing and digital detectors, highlight devices and industries that benefit most, and showcase our selection of high-quality digital detector solutions.

The Difference Between Chemical Film Developers and Digital Detectors

Traditional X-ray imaging relies on photographic film that must be processed using chemical developers, fixers, and other solutions in a darkroom or processor. This method involves exposing the film to X-rays, then chemically developing it to produce a visible image. While effective for decades, chemical processing is time-consuming, generates hazardous waste, requires regular maintenance of processors, and often results in lower contrast or resolution compared to modern alternatives.

Digital detectors, by contrast, use advanced flat-panel technology—typically cesium iodide (CsI) or similar scintillators paired with thin-film transistor (TFT) arrays—to capture X-ray images electronically. The detector converts X-ray energy directly into digital signals, delivering instant images on a workstation or monitor. This eliminates chemicals entirely, reduces radiation exposure, improves workflow speed, and provides superior dynamic range and detail. Digital systems also support easy image storage, sharing, and post-processing enhancements.

Devices That Use Digital Detectors

Digital detectors power a wide range of modern radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. Common devices include:

  • U-arm and fixed radiography systems for general diagnostic imaging.
  • C-arm fluoroscopy units for real-time surgical guidance.
  • Portable and wireless detector panels that retrofit existing X-ray rooms or mobile units.
  • Long-length or full-spine detectors designed for specialized views.
  • Mini C-arms for extremity and orthopedic procedures.

These devices appear across radiology departments, operating rooms, and mobile imaging setups.

Industries and Use Cases That Benefit from Digital Detectors

Hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, orthopedic clinics, and trauma centers gain significant advantages from digital detectors. Use cases include:

  • Orthopedic and spine surgery — Precise visualization during joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal fusions with minimal radiation.
  • Vascular and interventional procedures — Real-time imaging for catheter placements and minimally invasive interventions.
  • General surgery and emergency care — Fast image acquisition for trauma assessments and intraoperative guidance.
  • Full-spine and long-bone imaging — Single-exposure captures for scoliosis evaluations or whole-limb studies, improving patient comfort and workflow.
  • Retrofit upgrades — Converting legacy film or CR systems into efficient DR setups without replacing the entire X-ray machine.

Facilities focused on reducing dose, eliminating chemical waste, and accelerating turnaround times see the greatest impact.

Defibrillators Available at Auxo Medical

Defibrillators and Resuscitation Equipment for Hospitals, EMS, and Clinical Teams

When seconds matter, having the right defibrillator isn’t just a purchasing decision—it’s a readiness decision. At Auxo Medical, we help clinical teams build dependable emergency response programs with refurbished defibrillators, advanced monitor/defibrillators, and CPR support equipment that’s designed for real-world care environments. Our goal is simple: keep your team equipped, confident, and ready when a cardiac emergency happens.

If you’re searching for a trusted source for a refurbished defibrillator, a monitor/defibrillator for transport or bedside response, or mechanical CPR support to improve consistency during resuscitation, you’re in the right place. Explore our Defibrillators product category to see what’s currently available and request a quote directly from each product page.

Why defibrillator readiness is more than buying a device

A defibrillator program works best when the device, accessories, and training all line up with your environment. In hospitals, that might mean advanced monitoring and fast, intuitive operation for in-house rapid response teams. In EMS and transport, it often means rugged portability, reliable power, and features that support resuscitation while moving a patient. In training and biomedical support, it can mean realistic simulation tools that help teams practice confidently without tying up clinical units.

That’s why we focus on complete solutions—helping you choose equipment that matches your protocols, staffing, and patient population, and supporting you with service and maintenance options when you need them.

How to choose the right defibrillator for your environment

The “best” defibrillator is the one that fits your team, protocols, and environment. Here are practical decision points we walk through with customers:

  • Clinical setting and staffing: Hospital code teams and ALS providers may prioritize advanced monitoring and therapy options, while lower-acuity settings may prioritize ease of use and fast AED workflows.
  • Monitoring needs: If your team relies on oxygen saturation, blood pressure monitoring, or advanced ECG workflows, choose a platform configured to support those parameters.
  • Transport and durability: For EMS, transport, and busy hospital workflows, rugged construction and portability matter as much as feature depth.
  • Readiness and fleet management: If you manage multiple devices across a facility or agency, readiness features and data workflows can reduce surprises and streamline compliance.
  • Resuscitation consistency: If CPR quality consistency is a key goal, consider pairing a defibrillator platform with a mechanical CPR option like LUCAS or Lifeline ARM.

Centrifuges - Auxo Medical

Medical and Laboratory Centrifuges from Auxo Medical: Find the Right Fit for STAT, Routine, Blood Bank, Veterinary, and Mobile Workflows

When your lab is moving fast, your centrifuge has to be the most reliable piece of the pre-analytic workflow. Centrifugation impacts specimen quality, turnaround time, and the consistency clinicians depend on for decisions in emergency care, routine diagnostics, coagulation testing, and transfusion medicine. At Auxo Medical, we make it easier to choose with a curated selection of medical and lab centrifuges that support real-world clinical demands—whether you’re running a busy hospital lab, a physician office lab, a veterinary practice, or a mobile collection route.

Below is a practical guide to how centrifuges are used across healthcare and laboratory environments—plus a product sampling from our centrifuge catalog so you can quickly compare options by workflow, speed expectations, and specimen type.

Why the “right” centrifuge matters in clinical labs

A centrifuge is not just a spinning motor—it is a quality-control tool. The right rotor style, consistent performance, safe lid locking, and repeatable cycles help you reduce redraws, improve separation quality, and keep specimens moving downstream into chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, or serology testing.

In practice, most facilities choose centrifuges based on a few decision drivers:

  • Workflow speed for STAT or rapid turnaround testing
  • Repeatability for routine processing with minimal operator variability
  • Specimen type such as serum, plasma, urine, coagulation tubes, or blood bank tubes
  • Portability for mobile phlebotomy and home health collection
  • Specialty use for veterinary microhematocrit or blood bank cell washing and serology procedures

STAT centrifuges for rapid turnaround and high-throughput accessioning

STAT labs live and die by minutes. If your accessioning bench is constantly feeding analyzers, a dedicated STAT centrifuge can help compress the time between draw and result—especially for serum or plasma preparation. We stock several Drucker Diagnostics DASH series options designed for fast, repeatable processing in busy environments.

Featured STAT centrifuges from our catalog:

Coagulation centrifuges for hemostasis testing and time-sensitive results

Coag testing is one of the most time-sensitive areas of the clinical lab, and centrifugation quality plays a direct role in getting a usable specimen to the analyzer. If your lab runs frequent coag panels (or supports ED and critical care coag requests), a dedicated coag centrifuge can help standardize the workflow and reduce delays.

Routine centrifuges for clinics, physician office labs, and daily diagnostic volume

Routine testing demands consistency more than anything. Many labs prefer centrifuges that support repeatable, validated cycles and “set it and run it” simplicity—especially where multiple staff members share responsibilities across draws, processing, and packaging.

Featured routine centrifuges from our catalog:

Everyday clinical centrifuges for compact labs and steady sample flow

Some facilities want proven, widely used clinical centrifuges that are easy to operate and fit well in a clinic lab environment. These are common in physician offices, outpatient collection sites, and smaller labs that still care deeply about specimen quality.

Mobile centrifuges for home health, field collection, and on-the-go processing

Mobile phlebotomy and home health collection adds a layer of complexity: you have to protect specimen integrity while keeping schedules tight. If your clinicians need to process tubes while traveling between patient locations, a vehicle-powered centrifuge can improve turnaround time while reducing delays before transport.

Blood banking and serology centrifuges for transfusion services and immunohematology

Blood banking and serology workflows demand specialized performance—especially for grouping, typing, crossmatching, and cell washing procedures. At Auxo Medical, we carry blood bank and serology centrifuge options that support these critical processes in transfusion services and immunohematology labs.

Veterinary centrifuges for in-clinic diagnostics and lab-quality versatility

Veterinary practices often need multi-purpose centrifugation for common specimen types—plus microhematocrit capability. The goal is fast, reliable separation for in-house diagnostics without sending everything out. We carry veterinary centrifuges designed to support blood, urine, fecal, and microhematocrit workflows in clinic labs.

High-speed horizontal centrifugation for rapid sample separation

Some labs want a high-speed horizontal centrifuge that supports rapid turnaround and fits well next to STAT analyzers. If you’re building a lean workflow around “spin and run,” a dedicated rapid centrifuge can reduce bottlenecks.

  • StatSpin Express 4 Centrifuge
A strong choice for labs focused on rapid processing near the analyzer. Frequently used for time-sensitive workflows that benefit from quick separation and streamlined movement from centrifuge to testing.

Patient Positioning Products Available at Auxo Medical

Patient Positioning Equipment: Surgical Positioners & OR Table Accessories We Trust in Real-World Clinical Environments

At Auxo Medical, we help facilities build safer, smoother workflows with dependable patient positioning equipment—from precision surgical positioners to imaging-friendly accessories. Whether you’re running an operating room, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), pain management suite, or procedure clinic, the right positioning setup supports three things every team cares about: patient comfort, secure access to the surgical site, and efficient turnover.

On our Patient Positioning catalog page, you’ll find a mix of brand new, reconditioned, and refurbished options—so you can match performance needs and budget without compromising on essentials.

Why patient positioning matters (and what people often overlook)

Patient positioning isn’t just “where the patient lies.” It’s a system that affects:

  • Surgical access & visibility (stable anatomy and consistent exposure)
  • Imaging quality (radiolucent components, proper table extensions, and smart accessory placement)
  • Staff ergonomics (less lifting, fewer awkward holds, more controlled adjustments)
  • Procedure consistency (repeatable setups across rooms, surgeons, and service lines)

A common misconception is that “pads are pads” and “supports are supports.” In reality, small details—like how a device mounts to the table, whether it’s radiolucent, how quickly it adjusts, and whether it stores cleanly—can make or break the workflow on busy days.

Featured patient positioning products (a practical sampling from our catalog)

Below is a curated sampling of patient positioning products from our Patient Positioning category. We’ve grouped them the way real facilities think about positioning: by specialty, room type, and workflow.

This is a practical option when your goal is standardization—consistent room setups, consistent staff expectations, and fewer missing components.

Quick buying guide: how we help facilities choose the right patient positioning equipment

When you’re selecting surgical positioning devices and accessories, here are the filters we recommend using first (because they prevent the most expensive mistakes):

  • Procedure & position: beach chair, lithotomy, lateral, supine, prone, “off the end,” etc.
  • Table compatibility: rail type, clamp style, required sockets/adaptors, and intended table models (especially for specialty extensions)
  • Imaging requirements: radiolucent surfaces/components for fluoro and C-arm workflows
  • Adjustability & repeatability: range of motion is great—repeatable indexing and easy resets are even better
  • Cleaning & turnaround: wipe-clean surfaces, removable pads, and storage carts can significantly impact throughput
  • Staff ergonomics: lift-assist and simplified adjustments reduce physical strain across high-volume days

Who benefits most from upgrading patient positioning equipment?

We see the biggest ROI when facilities are in one (or more) of these situations:

  • ASCs scaling case volume and trying to reduce turnover time
  • Hospitals standardizing rooms across different service lines and surgeon preferences
  • Ortho / sports medicine teams doing high volumes of knee and shoulder procedures
  • Pain management and interventional suites where imaging and access are constant constraints
  • Urology programs that need table extensions and imaging-friendly accessories
  • Hand surgery and upper extremity specialists building consistent traction workflows

FAQ: Patient positioning equipment

Do radiolucent positioning accessories really matter?

Yes—especially in C-arm and fluoro workflows. Radiolucent accessories help reduce imaging interference and can limit the need to reposition equipment mid-procedure.

Should we buy one universal system or specialty devices?

If you’re a mixed-case facility, it often makes sense to build a core “standard room kit” (head support, arm support, clamps, basic positioning) and then add specialty devices for high-volume lines (shoulder beach chair positioning, knee arthroscopy positioning, spine injection positioning, etc.).

Can patient positioning equipment help with turnover?

Absolutely. Standardized kits and storage/transport solutions (like dedicated carts) reduce missing components and speed up setup, teardown, and room reset.

Let’s get your positioning setup right

At Auxo Medical, we don’t just list equipment—we help you match patient positioning products to your procedures, your room constraints, and your workflow goals. If you’re building a new OR/ASC room, expanding an ortho program, or upgrading imaging-friendly positioning for a pain suite, start here:

C-Arm Machines for Sale: New and Refurbished Mobile C-Arms from Auxo Medical

When you’re searching for a C-arm for sale, you’re not just buying imaging equipment — you’re investing in surgical confidence, workflow speed, and consistent image quality in the OR. At Auxo Medical, we stock C-arms because they’re an essential part of surgical day-to-day operations, delivering high-resolution fluoroscopic imaging that supports fast, accurate decisions during procedures. We focus on proven systems (including OEC and Genoray) and we offer brand new, reconditioned, and refurbished options so you can match performance to budget without compromising on clinical needs.

Below, we break down how to choose the right mobile C-arm, what features actually matter in real-world cases, and a curated sample of C-arm systems and related accessories currently listed in our C-Arms catalog.

What a C-Arm Does (and Why Choosing the Right One Matters)

A C-arm is a mobile fluoroscopy imaging system that provides real-time X-ray visualization during procedures. In practice, the “right” C-arm helps your team:

  • Position faster and reduce “re-shoot” frustration with consistent image clarity
  • Support minimally invasive techniques with live imaging and easy angles around the table
  • Improve day-to-day efficiency with intuitive controls, storage, and workflow tools
  • Manage radiation exposure through modern dose features and smarter imaging modes

Because C-arms sit at the intersection of clinical performance, room logistics, and long-term serviceability, the best choice is usually the one that fits your specialty mix, case volume, and staffing realities — not just the one with the biggest spec sheet.

New vs Reconditioned vs Refurbished C-Arms: How We Think About Value

In our C-Arms catalog, you’ll see equipment listed across condition types, including brand new, reconditioned, and refurbished options. Here’s a practical way to compare them:

  • Brand new can be ideal for teams that want the latest platform, long runway, and standardized fleet planning.
  • Reconditioned often targets a “best of both worlds” balance: strong performance with meaningful cost control.
  • Refurbished is a common choice for ASCs, specialty clinics, and hospitals expanding capacity — especially when you want a proven model with a clear upgrade path.

We help facilities select a configuration that matches the work you actually do — orthopedic surgery, pain management, vascular access, urology, GI, and more — and we’ll talk through room constraints, imaging expectations, and service planning before you commit.

How to Choose the Best Mobile C-Arm for Your Facility

Detector Type: Flat Panel vs Image Intensifier

A major decision point is whether you want a flat panel detector system or an image intensifier based system.

  • Flat panel detector C-arms are often chosen for modern workflow, crisp imaging, and advanced dose and positioning features. They’re especially attractive for demanding surgical environments.
  • Image intensifier C-arms remain popular because they’re familiar, proven, and widely supported — a strong fit for many general surgery and orthopedic workflows.

Full-Size vs Mini C-Arm

If your imaging needs are focused on extremities (hands, wrists, feet, ankles), a mini C-arm can be a smart, space-friendly choice. If you need broader anatomy coverage and full fluoroscopy capability for common OR procedures, a full-size C-arm is typically the better fit.

Software Packages and Procedure Fit

Many systems are configured around procedure types (for example, general surgery packages versus vascular-oriented options). If your case mix includes vascular work, pain management, or high-volume orthopedic imaging, choosing the right package can have a bigger day-to-day impact than small spec differences.

Workflow Features That Matter in the OR

When teams tell us a C-arm “just works,” it usually comes down to practical workflow wins like clear positioning cues, fast setup, intuitive UI, strong image tools, and consistent results across users and shifts.

Patient Monitors and Vital Signs Spot Monitors

Patient Monitors for Every Care Setting: How We Help You Choose the Right Monitor (with Real Product Examples)

Patient monitoring is one of those areas where “good enough” isn’t good enough. Whether you’re managing high-acuity ICU patients, monitoring sedation in a procedure room, or running quick triage in an urgent care clinic, the right patient monitor helps your team spot changes early, document clearly, and standardize workflows across your facility.

At Auxo Medical, we support hospitals, surgery centers, clinics, and transport teams with a deep catalog of new, reconditioned, and refurbished patient monitors—including multi-parameter bedside monitors, portable transport monitors, vital signs spot-check devices, and capnography (EtCO2) solutions. Below is a practical, SEO-friendly guide to choosing the right system, with a sampling of patient monitors and accessories from our catalog.

Browse the full catalog here: Patient Monitors

What a Patient Monitor Should Do (Beyond “Show Vitals”)

When teams shop for a patient monitor, it’s easy to focus on a short checklist—ECG, SpO2, NIBP, temperature, respiration. But the real value of modern patient monitoring is how well a device fits your workflow and your acuity level:

  • Match the acuity: A med-surg floor has different needs than the OR, ICU, or PACU.
  • Scale your parameters: Modular platforms let you start with core vitals and add capabilities like invasive blood pressure (IBP), CO2 monitoring, or anesthesia gas analysis.
  • Support transport and continuity: If patients move (ED → imaging → OR → PACU), portability and pickup-and-go workflow matter.
  • Improve documentation: Integrated printers, data storage, and connectivity can reduce charting friction and improve consistency.
  • Keep clinicians focused: Clear displays, intuitive controls, and sensible alarm configuration reduce cognitive load.

Quick “Best Fit” Guide (Sample Products from Our Patient Monitor Catalog)

If you want a shortcut, here are common buying scenarios—and real products we carry that often fit those needs.

High-acuity monitoring (ICU, OR, critical care)

Bedside monitoring with EtCO2 (capnography) included

Portable and transport-friendly patient monitoring

Fast vital signs spot-check (clinics, triage, intake)

Spotlight: Multi-Parameter Bedside Patient Monitors (ICU, OR, PACU, Step-Down)

Multi-parameter bedside monitors are the backbone of inpatient monitoring. The best fit depends on how sick your patients are, what parameters you need today, and what you may need to add later.

GE CARESCAPE monitoring for high-acuity workflows

If your priority is a high-acuity monitoring platform that supports efficient clinician workflow across critical areas, take a look at the GE CARESCAPE B850 Patient Monitor. This type of platform is commonly selected for environments where clinician speed, clarity, and adaptability matter—like the ICU and operating room.

Mindray modular monitoring for PACU + ICU/OR capability

PACU monitoring is unique: patients may be stable one minute and trending in the wrong direction the next. That’s why many teams prefer monitors that combine clear visualization, strong alarm control, and room to expand parameters.

The Mindray DPM6 PACU Monitor w/ 12 lead Masimo MPM is a strong example of a modular patient monitor used for post-anesthesia care and also deployed across ICU/OR use cases when advanced parameters are required.

And when you need a dedicated module to add capabilities inside compatible Mindray ecosystems, the Mindray MPM Masimo Set Mortara Module SpO2/ ECG/ NIBP/ 2-IBP 2-Temp (115-022715-00) is an option we carry for multi-parameter monitoring expansion in supported monitors.

Philips IntelliVue bedside monitoring visibility

For teams standardized on Philips ecosystems—or teams that want a bedside monitor designed to provide an expanded real-time view—consider the Philips IntelliVue MX700 Bedside Patient Monitor. Bedside monitors like this are often selected for patient rooms, step-down units, and higher-acuity areas where clinicians want more information visible at a glance.

Continuity from bedside to transport

When patient movement is constant, continuity becomes a safety feature. The Drager Infinity Delta w/ 5 Agent Analysis is an example of a monitor designed around the concept of staying with the patient from bedside to transport, while supporting a broad range of monitoring parameters.

Capnography (EtCO2) Monitoring: Where It Matters Most

Capnography (EtCO2 monitoring) helps teams understand ventilation status by measuring exhaled CO2 and displaying a waveform (capnogram). In real-world clinical workflows, EtCO2 is often prioritized in environments like:

  • Procedural sedation (where ventilation can change quickly)
  • PACU (post-anesthesia respiratory vigilance)
  • Transport (fewer hands, fewer seconds to interpret change)
  • Respiratory monitoring programs (spot-check or continuous strategies)

Standalone/portable capnography + SpO2 monitoring

For teams that want a portable pulmonary and vital signs approach, the Medtronic Capnostream 20p Beside Monitor is a focused solution built around EtCO2 and SpO2 monitoring in a portable format.

Capnography modules to expand your monitoring setup

Sometimes you don’t need to replace the whole monitor—you just need to add reliable CO2 monitoring. We carry multiple CO2 module options, including:

All-in-one vital signs + EtCO2 for spot-check and bedside mobility

If your goal is to keep workflows simple—especially in triage, intake, or mixed-use environments—an all-in-one vital signs monitor with EtCO2 can be a practical fit. Two examples from our catalog include:

Transport & Portable Patient Monitors: Designed for Movement

Transport monitoring is its own category because the environment is harsher: tighter spaces, fewer staff, constant motion, and frequent transitions. The best transport patient monitor is the one your team can set up quickly, read instantly, and trust while moving.

GE Dash series for portable monitoring with EtCO2

If you’re looking for a portable monitor that’s commonly deployed across hospital and transport settings, the GE Dash 5000 Paitent Monitor w/ Sidestream EtCO2 is a strong example of a transport-friendly, parameter-rich monitoring platform.

For teams that want a full-feature monitor with CO2 monitoring included, the GE Dash 4000 Patient Monitor W/ CO2 is another widely recognized option for continuous monitoring workflows that include capnography.

Mindray Passport for modular portability

The Mindray Passport 8 Patient Monitor with Sidestream EtCO2 is built around portable monitoring with modular expandability—useful for facilities that want a consistent monitoring experience as patients move between departments or acuity levels.

Vital Signs & Spot-Check Monitoring: Clinics, Triage, Intake, and Rounding

Not every environment needs a full bedside monitor. In many clinics and outpatient workflows, speed and simplicity matter most: blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and SpO2—captured reliably and efficiently.

Fast vital signs workflows (NIBP + temperature)

The Welch Allyn Spot Monitor with NIBP and Temperature is a popular style of solution for intake and rounding workflows where quick vital signs checks are the main job.

Portable SpO2 + NIBP spot-check flexibility

If you want a lightweight, portable device that can move from room to room or work in mixed-use environments, the Cleo Compact SpO2 and NIBP Monitor is designed for spot-check flexibility in bedside and mobile scenarios.

Don’t Forget the Workflow: Mounts & Mobile Stands for Patient Monitors

One of the most overlooked parts of patient monitoring is the physical workflow. How a monitor is mounted can affect visibility, cable organization, and how fast staff can reposition equipment between patients.

Industries & Departments That Benefit from the Right Patient Monitor

We commonly help organizations choose patient monitors for environments like:

  • Hospitals and health systems: ICU patient monitoring, step-down units, med-surg floors, and rapid response workflows
  • Operating rooms (OR) and anesthesia care: monitoring setups that prioritize clear display, configurable parameters, and optional gas/capnography expansion
  • PACU and perioperative services: post-anesthesia monitoring where respiratory and cardiac trends matter minute-to-minute
  • Ambulatory surgery centers (ASC): efficient, standardized monitoring for pre-op, intra-op, and recovery workflows
  • Urgent care and outpatient clinics: fast spot-check vital signs monitoring for intake, triage, and provider assessment
  • Transport teams: portable and transport patient monitors that support continuity during movement

Patient Monitor FAQ (Commom Questions We Hear)

What’s the difference between a vital signs monitor and a multi-parameter patient monitor?

A vital signs monitor is typically optimized for fast spot-checks (like NIBP, SpO2, pulse rate, temperature). A multi-parameter patient monitor is designed for continuous bedside monitoring and often supports expanded parameters (like IBP and EtCO2) plus deeper trending, alarms, and workflow customization.

Do you carry patient monitors with capnography (EtCO2)?

Yes. We carry multiple options that include EtCO2 monitoring as part of the monitor (such as the GE B40 Patient Monitor w/ EtCO2 or the GE Dash 4000 Patient Monitor W/ CO2) and we also carry capnography-focused devices and modules (like the Medtronic Capnostream 20p Beside Monitor and Respironics CO2 Monitoring Module).

Why do facilities consider refurbished patient monitors?

Many facilities choose refurbished patient monitors to standardize across departments, expand capacity, or replace aging units while managing budget. Refurbished equipment can be especially helpful when you need to deploy multiple monitors quickly (for example: opening new bays, updating a PACU, or equipping transport teams).

Can you help us choose the right patient monitor for our department?

Yes—this is exactly what we do. If you tell us your care area (ICU, OR, PACU, clinic, transport), required parameters (ECG, SpO2, NIBP, IBP, temperature, respiration, EtCO2), and mounting needs, we can help you narrow options and build a consistent monitoring plan.

Ready to Compare Patient Monitors?

Start by browsing our catalog of Patient Monitors. If you already know what you need, you can request a quote directly from the product pages. If you’re building a department standard (or replacing multiple units), we can help you compare configurations so you get the right mix of bedside monitors, transport monitors, capnography solutions, and mounting accessories—without overbuying.

Auxo Medical - Your Medical & Lab Equipment Solutions Provider

Auxo Medical FAQs: New and Refurbished Medical Equipment Sales, Service, Maintenance, and Repair

When your facility depends on reliable equipment, you need a partner who can support the full lifecycle: selecting the right device, delivering it, installing it, keeping it running, and standing behind it with responsive service. At Auxo Medical, we do exactly that. We provide new and refurbished medical and lab equipment, plus maintenance and repair services, parts support, and flexible options to help you keep operations moving smoothly.

What we do at Auxo Medical

We support healthcare and industrial environments with equipment sales and service that are built around uptime, safety, and predictable ownership costs. We work with a wide range of customers, including hospitals, surgery centers, outpatient clinics, dental practices, veterinary clinics, research organizations, laboratories, and even industries like agriculture, aerospace, and food processing.

In practical terms, you can come to us for

  • New medical and lab equipment across many categories and brands
  • Refurbished equipment restored to “like new” condition through a documented process
  • On-site field service in our supported regions and equipment categories
  • Preventive maintenance programs and customized service plans
  • OEM and aftermarket parts sourcing
  • Equipment installation and setup support
  • Financing options and trade-in support

Medical and lab equipment we provide

We provide a broad range of medical and lab equipment to fit the needs of clinical care, sterile processing, and specialized environments. Because different facilities have different requirements, we focus on matching the right equipment configuration to your workflow, volume, utilities, and compliance needs—so you are not forced into a one-size-fits-all purchase.

If you are equipping a new space, replacing aging assets, or expanding capacity, we can support both new equipment sales and refurbished equipment options—so you can choose the right balance of budget, availability, and long-term reliability.

Refurbished medical equipment you can trust

Refurbished equipment should never be a gamble. Our approach is built around consistent processes, thorough testing, and a standard of finish and function that aims to deliver “like new” results—not “cleaned up and shipped out.” We break down equipment, restore it, and test it thoroughly so it is ready for real clinical use.

We refurbish a wide range of devices, including sterile processing and biomedical equipment such as:

  • Sterilizers and autoclaves
  • Washer disinfectors
  • Surgical tables
  • Stretchers and beds
  • Surgical and exam lights
  • Warmers
  • Steam generators
  • Other biomedical equipment types

Refurbished vs used: why the difference matters

Used equipment can be easy to buy, but difficult to trust—especially when service history is unclear and performance is not guaranteed. Refurbished equipment, when done correctly, is restored through a structured process and backed by warranty coverage, which helps reduce unexpected downtime and surprise repair costs.

New equipment sales, plus practical support

Yes, we sell new equipment across many types and brands. Just as importantly, we can support you through the selection process so you can make a purchase that matches your facility’s real constraints: space, power, steam availability, throughput goals, staff workflow, and serviceability.

Delivery and installation that fits your timeline

We deliver equipment throughout the contiguous United States, and in some cases we can ship internationally. If you need help beyond the shipment, we also offer installation on the equipment we provide, so your team is not left alone to figure out setup details or integration needs.

Parts support: OEM and aftermarket options

Downtime often comes down to parts availability. We support customers with a wide range of OEM and aftermarket parts so repairs and maintenance can move forward without unnecessary delays. If you need help identifying the right part or confirming compatibility, our team can assist through the request process.

Where we provide field service

We provide field service across multiple regions, including:

  • Virginia
  • Maryland
  • Washington, D.C.
  • North Carolina
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee
  • Georgia
  • Florida
  • Kentucky
  • Ohio
  • Michigan

This field coverage allows us to support maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service plan visits with on-site technicians in the areas we serve.

Certified and factory-trained technicians

Service quality is only as good as the people doing the work. We have technicians with current and active AAMI CBET credentials, and we also draw from skilled trade backgrounds that matter in real-world installations and repairs, including electrician, plumbing, HVAC, and welding experience.

We also have factory-trained technicians across a range of manufacturers and equipment types. Examples include:

  • Sterilizers and washers from manufacturers such as Steris, Belimed, Primus, and Tuttnauer
  • Surgical lights from manufacturers such as Amico and NUVO
  • Anesthesia machines from manufacturers such as GE and Mindray
  • C-arms and X-ray systems such as OEC/GE
  • EMS and transport equipment such as Stryker

To keep skills current, our technicians regularly attend continuing education opportunities.

Service plans for sterile processing equipment

Sterile processing equipment is mission-critical, and the best way to reduce surprise failures is to pair responsive repair support with a preventive maintenance strategy. We offer multiple service plan structures and can customize a plan to match your department’s needs.

Our service plan options include:

  • Alpha plan, designed as our highest maintenance and repair coverage with fixed investment
  • Beta plan, designed to increase predictability with more comprehensive coverage
  • Gamma plan, designed as a labor-focused maintenance program built around scheduled service
  • Delta plan, designed to improve reliability with a moderate investment level
  • Delta Plus coverage, which can include unscheduled service calls in addition to scheduled service

A good service plan is not just a contract—it is an operational tool. The goal is to keep cycles consistent, reduce disruptions, and make it easier to budget for maintenance over time.

Biomedical equipment inspections, calibrations, and annual checks

Many facilities need recurring inspections and performance checks to stay compliant and safe. We provide a wide range of biomedical equipment services that can include inspections, calibrations, and equipment check-ins. Because needs vary by facility and device category, we align the work scope to your internal requirements and operational schedule.

Imaging equipment service: what we service and what we do not

We do not service MRI and CT scanners. We do provide full field services for fluoroscopy and X-ray systems, including C-arms, cath labs, and rad rooms.

This distinction matters because it helps you route service requests to the right team quickly—especially when imaging uptime impacts patient flow and procedure schedules.

Steam constraints? We can still help you run sterilizers and washers

Not every facility has building steam available, and utilities limitations should not automatically block your sterile processing goals. Many sterilizer and washer options can be configured with integral steam boilers. If steam needs extend across multiple devices, we can also provide freestanding boiler options.

Financing and trade-ins

Capital equipment planning often involves timing, budget cycles, and competing priorities. We offer affordable financing options to help facilities acquire needed equipment while keeping cash flow manageable.

We also accept trade-ins. If you are replacing equipment, trading in existing assets can be a practical way to offset costs and simplify transitions during upgrades or expansions.

Documentation and transparency in refurbishment

Confidence comes from clarity. Our refurbishment process varies by equipment type, and we document the process and provide documentation to the customer. This helps align expectations and supports internal recordkeeping.

Important note about personal equipment

Our services are focused on professional and organizational needs. We do not provide services for personal equipment.

Why facilities choose us

Facilities choose Auxo Medical because we combine equipment access with real service capability. Instead of forcing you to coordinate across multiple vendors, we aim to be the single partner you can rely on for equipment sourcing, installation support, parts, ongoing maintenance, and field repair—especially in sterile processing, biomedical equipment service, anesthesia equipment support, and fluoroscopy and X-ray service categories.

If your goal is to reduce downtime, strengthen compliance readiness, and extend the useful life of critical equipment, we are ready to help.
